Expense Update (July 2019)
Clear the tables, it’s time to review the expenses! This ritual of reviewing expenses once per month will never stop till the day I die. It’s almost a hobby at this point. I enjoy collecting data to review over long stretches of time. It helps me study the following:
- Personal behavior / flaws
- Forward growth projections
- Living cost inflation
- Lifestyle inflation
Understanding your expenses had profound benefits in my life. It raised the probability to get my spending in areas I wished to reduce much more likely. It keeps you accountable to yourself and helps you recognize there is no one to blame but yourself. Change starts from YOU. The data don’t lie.

Conclusion
Amazon got me good this month. Purchased about $500 dollars’ worth of gifts for the month. There is a huge satisfaction buying things for your loved ones. I hope one day, my passive income would grow so much more so I can give much more!
Personally, I feel blessed to have everything I want and need. Currently, I am in the process of selling a bunch of things that are no longer useful to me. It’s the most liberating feeling each time I let something go for a few dollars. It almost feels like losing that excess fat that was always hanging around! Just feels lighter and more nimble! Love it.
If you are wondering where my housing expenses are, I don’t have any! Not having a mortgage or rent expense has got to be one of the most liberating feelings. I’m starting to believe that there is some correlation to health benefits from removing such expense out of my life. I know! Crazy right?! That alone! Is worth the effort to reach such goal. What else is more important than health?! Nothing.
It must be something psychological. Can’t explain why such phenomena occurs but I am still trying to understand why such things are happening to my health. I will write more on this in detail in a later post.
Anyhow, going off topic here. That puts the expenses for the month in the books! Thanks for reading! 😊
